About

Hi, I’m Ainsley Gibbs, a senior at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, majoring in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations and minoring in Corporate Communications and Entrepreneurship. Currently, I serve as the Marketing Coordinator for The Backyard Waco, an outdoor venue where I manage all social media platforms and promote events. I also serve as the Director of PR and Marketing for Baylor’s Pi Beta Phi sorority, where I oversee our social media platforms, newsletters, visibility and reputation on campus.

In addition to my campus roles, I have previously interned with Apple in corporate communications and engagement. I’ve also worked as a graphic designer for Baylor Athletics, creating visually compelling content that aligns with the department’s branding goals.

These experiences, combined with my coursework, have given me strong skills in leadership, content creation, strategic communication, and digital marketing. As I prepare to graduate in 2025, I’m excited to pursue a career in Public Relations and Communications, where I can continue connecting with audiences and driving impactful storytelling.
